Chesapeake Nurse Attorneys first meeting of 2007 will be Tuesday,
March 6, 2007 at 6:30 PM Join
us to hear about an intriguing developing area of law “Animal Law and How It Can Become Part of Your Practice” at the
Hard Times Café in College Park 4738 Cherry Hill Road,
College Park, MD 20740 First
10 persons to reserve by email or phone as directed below will
receive $10.00 off of their dinner bill! The
featured speaker will be the new Chapter President, Kathy
Mancusi, Esq. She
will lead a discussion regarding “Animal
Law and How It Can Become Part of Your Practice”.
The speaker will share her knowledge about this interesting
area of law practice. Ms. Mancusi is a member of the newly formed
Maryland Bar Association’s Animal Law Committee and also will
speak on how that committee is changing the laws for our animal
friends in Maryland. The Hard Rock Café will provide a enjoyable
forum for CNA networking. After
a quiet 2006, Chesapeake Nurse Attorneys have an exciting year
planned, beginning with this first meeting of 2007. At
this meeting we will also talk about the upcoming Eastern Seaboard
Regional TAANA meeting in Philadelphia, which CNA is helping to
plan. Please

ANNUAL EASTERN SEABOARD NURSE ATTORNEY MEETING Sunday, June 5-6, 2005 Atlantic City, New Jersey Please join the Chesapeake Nurse Attorney’s (the Greater
Washington, DC area), the West Virginia Chapter and the Metro New
York Chapter for the first Annual Eastern Seaboard Nurse Attorney
meeting to be held Sunday to Monday, June 5-6, 2005 in Atlantic
City, New Jersey. The
personal contact of meeting other nurse attorneys in an invaluable
benefit of being a TAANA and or State chapter member. Many states do
not have chapters and this meeting will give you a chance to network
with fellow attorneys in the region. All chapter members, TAANA
members, and colleagues are invited to join on us for a brunch
meeting (@ 1-3 pm) on Sunday,
June 5, 2005. We
plan for the meeting to be educational, recreational and a
networking opportunity. The
meeting will include Sunday night dinner plans and Monday morning
breakfast as well. For the educational part of our meeting we have invited Diana Kupchella to discuss “Health Care for the American Indians: Do they have any?” and Kathleen Harrington who will discuss” Social Security and Medicare Update” for our brunch meeting. Suggestions of other speakers or meeting plans are welcome. There will be plenty of time for the boardwalk, beach and casinos.
